DREAMS that never realized

Its the last ball of the inings WC final-92 Amit on strike, 6 runs needed, Waqar Younis to ball, Amit has given himself room for the offside, Waqar fires it on his legs Amit moves to off converts into fulltoss, flcks over deep-square leg for 6, India wins. That was when I was only 10 years old, way back in 92 and the Dreamer in me had awaken. I thought one day i too would become a famous cricketer for the country and win India matches. The dream din end there, I fervently started playing cricket, bought coaching mauals, joined school coaching classes, but playing at the inter-school lever was all I could manage where I realized at the age of 14 that I din have any real talent to go any further and with it my dream was squashed. But I din stop dreaming and me coming from a sporting family made me persue other sports.. I thought one day I would make the wimbledon final I saw my self serving like Ivanisevic, hitting volies like Aggasi, playing soccer like Ronaldo, driving car like Schumi. Ofcourse realizing at some point of time that the certain dream cant be turned into reality and so I should persue something else.
Then one day I saw Deewar starring Amitabh Bachchan .. and well I thought this has to be it, this is what I will be, instant stardom , name and fame, celebrity status. I starting practising dialogues, watch a lot of movies and pick up acting skills. I dreamt of dancing like Hirthik in KNPH, acting like SRK in DDLJ fight like Akshay. I even once tried for modelling only to realize that competition is everywhere and so couldn't make it. One more dream squashed..
It was sometime in 99 and I had bought a new 2 in 1. I started listening to radio . I heard Kishore Kumar and thought .. well this has to be it... and music became my hobby. I found myself singing in bathroom , singing while studying, learning the lyrics of any new hit song and then singing and recordig my voice. It was at one of the stage performances that I realised that I can get jailed for singing in public and so... another dream squashed.
I then saw
